Florida nuclear reactor denied cost recovery plan
Florida’s largest utility company will no longer be allowed to charge customers for a postponed construction project at the Turkey Point nuclear power plant. This comes after Florida Power & Light collected $282 million from customers for the project. RT’s Marina Portnaya reports from Miami.
Canada’s Quebec bans face veils in public services
A "burqa ban" is what many are calling the new law in the Canadian province of Quebec. Officials insist the prohibition targets all face coverings and does not discriminate against a particular religion - but many believe it is directly aimed at Muslim women who wear face veils.
