Will Saudis rebuild our roads & bridges?
As President Donald Trump prepares for Saturday’s visit to Saudi Arabia, the first stop on his much-promoted “tolerance tour,” RT America’s Anya Parampil reports on the Saudis’ plans to invest billions of dollars in the US and their business connections to Trump’s family. She also exposes the mammoth arms deal which Trump is expected to announce during his visit. Then, author and investigative journalist Max Blumenthal tells RT America’s Manila Chan that Trump seems to have two-faced regard for Saudi Arabia, criticizing them in public even while negotiating hotel-deals. During his visit, he is expected to announce an enormous new arms sale, perhaps the largest in American history. Blumenthal also discusses planned Saudi investment in American infrastructure in swing states, which may amount to “collusion with a foreign theocracy to secure re-election.”

In Tulsa, Oklahoma, a white female police officer who was acquitted in the shooting death of an unarmed black man will be allowed to return to duty. She was found not guilty by a majority-female jury after only 9 hours of deliberation. Video evidence contradicted the defense’s narrative so much that protests erupted outside the courtroom as soon as the verdict was read. Dr. Baruti Kopano, professor at Morgan State University, joins RT America’s Ashlee Banks to discuss the implications of the trial and its outcome.
