New York delegation puts Trump over the top at RNC
Republicans made it official in Cleveland and nominated Donald Trump as their presidential nominee. New York’s delegation deferred its votes until the end, so the nominee’s son, Donald Trump, Jr. could make the announcement that his father had clinched the nomination. RT America’s Lindsay France joins ‘News with Ed’ and reports that there is a greater sense of unity at the convention on day two. Even former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski made an appearance with the New Hampshire delegation.
Fight for $15 protesters threaten to shut down Philly airport during DNC
Thousands of airport workers protested their wages in Philadelphia a week before the Democratic National Convention is set to take place in the city. They warn that if their demands are not met by next week, they will shut down Philadelphia International Airport ahead of the DNC. RT America’s Manila Chan reports from The City of Brotherly Love.
