Tamir Rice family lawyer talks to RT following non-indictment in the case
Following the press conference in which prosecutor Tim McGinty announced that there would be no indictment of the officer involved in the killing of 12-year-old Tamir Rice, RT’s Manila Chan talked to Walter Madison, the lawyer representing the family. Madison says that there “certainly appears” to be some deference to law enforcement in the incident, and that there were harbingers throughout the case that what the grand jury’s decision would be.
Medical neglect & unsanitary conditions at US’s largest women’s prison
The Florida Department of Corrections has said that 99 percent of deaths in America’s largest women’s prison were from “natural causes,” while the Miami-Herald has uncovered other factors, including inadequate medical treatment and gruesome sanitary conditions, for the deaths.
