Turkish MP investigated for treason after sarin gas claims on RT
A treason investigation has been launched against a Turkish MP who alleged in an exclusive interview with RT that Islamic State jihadists delivered deadly sarin gas to Syria through Turkey. Legal and media analyst Lionel of Lionel media talks with RT’s Anya Parampil on the issue, saying that when a person is charged with treason, “What you’re doing is saying that the substance of that which was said is true.”
Judge declares mistrial in Freddie Gray case
A mistrial has been declared in the trial of Officer William Porter for the in-custody death of Freddie Gray. Porter was the first of six Baltimore, Maryland officers to be tried in the case. Freddie Gray’s family lawyer urges the community to not extrapolate from the mistrial, saying that it “doesn’t mean anything about the future.” RT’s Manuel Rapalo reports.
