You’d think the crime of contaminating the Missouri River (a drinking water source for millions) and sacred sovereign land would be considered terrorism, but no, that label seems only to apply to those who threaten the corporate state. Bold Iowa is one of the environmental groups being sued for hundreds of millions of dollars by Energy Transfer Partners. Lee talks its director, Ed Fallon, then rants about how climate change and the influence of the oil and gas industry cannot be separated from hurricane devastation. Climate change literally causes increasingly extreme, severe weather events and Earth is crying for our attention.
