We reported Friday that nine tech companies face whistleblowing allegations in the press that they allow direct government access to their servers -- which they now "strenuously" deny. Snowden, the 29-year-old Booz Allen employee, has drawn support from some unlikely bedfellows, such as Michael Moore and Glenn Beck. And Microsoft's former chief privacy adviser Caspar Bowden went so far as to compare cloud data outside the US as a "privacy Guantánamo Bay."
