Islamic State says it was behind Thursday night's shooting on the Champs Elysee in central Paris, that killed one policeman and wounded two others. The attack came as presidential candidates made their final election pitches in a televised debate ahead of voting on Sunday. The President of the European Parliament says Brexit can be reversed - if that's the will of the British public after June's snap general election. At odds with his recent military adventures, President Trump says America is doing enough across the globe -  rejecting a plea from Italy to help stabilise war-torn Libya.
