A car bomb exploded outside a police headquarters in eastern Turkey - killing three and inuring almost 150 people. Another bombing elsewhere in the region earlier today also killed 3. A Taliban splinter group, previously thought to have been defeated, has just elected a new leader - and asserted its readiness to fight - quote - "foreign invaders" in Afghanistan. Greece says it's ready to take Germany to court, to obtain reparations for  World War Two atrocities - with Berlin currently the main holder of Athen's massive bailout debt. With the UK Labour Party leadership contest to be decided next month - one of the candidates says the Islamic-State terror group should be bought to the negotiating table.
