Russia's Defence Ministry confirms one of the pilots from the fighter jet downed by Turkey is alive - and has been taken to Russia's air base in Syria. Russia beefs up its air defences in Syria, in response to the downing of its jet. Advanced anti-aircraft missiles are already on their way there. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says Moscow has more than enough information to believe the downing of the Russian bomber was a pre-planned provocation.
