Three employees at JP Morgan, the largest bank in the US, have been charged under the RICO act for “spoofing the market.” They made millions for the bank by defrauding other market participants, including their own customers. The defendants include the head of the bank’s precious metals desk. RT America’s Michele Greenstein (in for Rick Sanchez) has the details. Then Peter Schiff of Euro Pacific Capital shares his insights. He agrees that JP Morgan was “rigging prices for a profit” in order to acquire an “unfair edge.”
