National Security Advisor John Bolton spoke in Miami, Florida on Thursday, slamming the governments of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua and threatening them with sanctions. Sanctions seldom change the behavior of targeted countries and more often harm American economic interests. Political commentator Charles Ortel joins Rick Sanchez to offer his insights, arguing that sanctions sometimes work but “very frequently fail.”
