Trump ‘controlling events at this point’ – fmr Pentagon official

The White House has had to answer for misleading media and public about the location of the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier and battle group, confirming Wednesday that a US Navy fleet is indeed headed to North Korea. It also appears that Russia is intent on strengthening its Eastern border. Meanwhile, the secretive and bellicose regime of Kim Jong-un sustains its spectacular media orgy of anti-Americanism and has suggested that it may continue missile tests on a weekly basis. Former Pentagon official Michael Maloof joins “News with Ed” to discuss President Trump’s foreign policy pattern and what to expect regarding North Korea, Syria and Iran.

Cyberwarfare cheaper, more convenient & anonymous – analyst

The Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) has reached out to at least one cybersecurity firm for help in developing deterrent systems. This comes amid fears that North Korea may cyber-attack US infrastructure. Cybersecurity expert and attorney Leeza Garber joins “News with Ed” to discuss the seriousness of US concerns and whether we are prepared for such an event.
