Let anti-DAPL activists ‘have their Youtube moment’ at Standing Rock – US congressman

Activists and Native American tribes have until 2pm on Tuesday to evacuate the Oceti Sakowin protest camp, per the newly elected governor’s order. Representative Kevin Cramer (R-North Dakota) joins “News with Ed” to discuss the reasons for the evacuation, as well as the popular, “romanticized” image of activists at Standing Rock.

Democrats at the crossroads 


A new chair of the Democratic National Committee will be elected this week. The Democrats’ defeat in the 2016 presidential election, coming on the heels of controversies and accusations of favoritism at their party’s highest level, leave many Democrats concerned for their party’s future. Larry Cohen, labor leader and board chair of Our Revolution, joins “News with Ed” to explain what’s at stake with this critical vote.
