CIA claims “high confidence” that Russia manipulated the 2016 Presidential election in favor of Donald Trump; the Washington Post, recently embarrassed over its “media blacklist” and compelled to print a retraction, has helped to popularize the Democrats’ anti-Russian election narrative, even though their (unnamed) sources could point to “no specific intelligence” connecting Russia to Trump’s electoral victory.
