Retired US intelligence officials call on Obama to deescalate rhetoric with Russia
A group of retired US intelligence officials have written an open letter to President Obama, calling on him to deescalate rhetoric against Russia in the conflict over Syria. The group of former officials are worried tensions with Russia will increase even further if no attempt to deescalate the conflict is made. RT America’s Manila Chan has the report.

Senator Bernie Sanders is keeping his promise of doing everything he can to help Hillary Clinton defeat Donald Trump. Ed Schultz, host of “News with Ed,” caught up with Sen. Sanders after a rally for Hillary Clinton in Iowa. The former Democratic presidential candidate said, “We cannot elect a president whose cornerstone of his campaign is based on bigotry.” He added: “I’m going to do my best to make sure Hillary Clinton is elected president.”
