Will justice be served for Alton Sterling?
Newly released cellphone video shows that Sterling never had a gun in his hand during the fatal encounter. The graphic video captured by the owner of Triple S Food Mart, Abdullah Muflahi, shows two officers pinning down Sterling and then shooting him. But given that Sterling was subdued at the time, how will law enforcement argue against the incident being one of excessive force? To help answer that question, criminal defense attorney Sue Ann Robinson joins ‘News With Ed.’
GOP wants FBI director Comey to testify over Clinton email probe
The Justice Department’s investigation of Hillary Clinton’s storage of classified emails on a private server is closed and no criminal charges will brought against the former Secretary of State. The House GOP has asked FBI director James Comey to testify before congress tomorrow. Republicans are also trying to reconcile Clinton’s statements throughout the investigation that she did not email any classified materials with Comey’s statements that 110 emails contained classified information.
