Vaccine hope & football woes

Russia has announced a breakthrough COVID-19 vaccine, thus becoming the first country to claim the accomplishment. Critics remain worried about possible dangers, pointing out that in its haste to defeat the novel coronavirus, Russia skipped some of the usual testing protocols. Meanwhile, the US is racing toward a vaccine of its own, with President Trump insisting that the US is close to several options and that the military stands ready to mobilize and administer the vaccine. RT America’s Alex Mihailovich has the details. Then investigative journalist and “Boom Bust” co-host Ben Swann and microbiologist and virologist Dr. Dean Hart join Scottie Nell Hughes to share their insights. Then sports analyst Eric Mitchell, president of Life Flip Media, weighs in on the cancellation of college football, its impact on student athletes, colleges and their communities, as well as proposed solutions to the pandemic-imposed issues plaguing sports in the US.
