FedEx hits back at NYTimes over article on taxes

Shipping company FedEx lobbied the Trump administration for tax cuts leading to a zero percent tax rate in 2018, resulting in billions in savings and lavishly rewarding its top executives. FedEx’s CEO replied by accusing the New York Times of distorting the truth and unfairly targeting it with a hit piece. RT America’s Rachel Blevins reports. Then Tobin Smith, CEO of Transformity Research joins Scottie Nell Hughes to share his expertise. He argues that decades-old tax loopholes and that a flat tax, while unlikely to be implemented, would return the US to prosperity.

Veterans react to Trump’s military pardons

President Trump issued a pardon to a US Army soldier convicted of murder in Afghanistan and another soldier who faced a court martial after killing a freed Afghan prisoner and disposing of his remains in a burn pit. He also intervened to reinstate Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher after he was demoted for stabbing a wounded fighter in the neck and posing with his corpse. US Army Ranger veteran and Democratic strategist Robin Biro and former Navy SEAL and radio host Jonathan T. Gilliam join Scottie Nell Hughes to share their insights. Then conservative commentator Steve Malzberg reacts to the latest bullying and hypocrisy in mainstream media, including veteran journalist Dan Rather’s condemnation of “the cult of Trump.”
