Tariffs force US manufacturers from China
China’s economic growth has slowed to its weakest level in 27 years. Chinese telecomm giant intends to lay off hundreds of workers across the US. Meanwhile, Japan seeks to tighten trade controls in its relationship with South Korea, citing concerns that the South was insufficiently careful in its trade with North Korea. Area 51 ‘joke’ turning dangerous
A Facebook event dedicated to “storming Area 51” on Sept. 20th is gaining momentum. Despite the fact that it was apparently conceived as satire, 1.1 million Facebook users have marked that they’re attending the event and many thousands more have expressed interest on social media. The US Air Force has responded that they will meet any such “storming” with force. Investigative journalist Ben Swann joins Scottie Nell Hughes with the details.
