EU buckles to US pressure re Iran Sanctions

Repercussions over Khashoggi murder, still  leave arms deals, economy intact

Saudi authorities seek the death penalty for five out of the 11 suspects charged in the murder of Saudi-born journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has sanctioned 17 people in connection to the killing. But the House of Representatives has blocked a bill aimed at ending US support for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen. RT America’s Dan Cohen has more.

Major networks signal selective support for CNN lawsuit

Fox News has announced that it supports CNN’s lawsuit against the Trump administration and will be filing an amicus brief on the matter. AP, Bloomberg, New York Times, POLITICO, Washington Posts, and other major news outlets are following suit, but Scottie Nell Hughes can’t ignore the hypocrisy in these networks’ selective solidarity.
