Russian cuisine is wholesome and diverse. It’s famous for its dumplings, meat pies, beef stroganoff and hearty broths – but have you ever wondered about a Moscow without meat?

Some 5-10 per cent of Muscovites are vegetarians. Whether their choice was made for personal, religious or ethical reasons, they’re causing quite a stir in the Russian capital.
