Majority of CFOs Expect a Recession within a Year, Trump Using Fed Cuts for 2020

A new Duke University survey shows that 53 percent of U.S. CFOs believe that the country will be in a recession within a year. That number jumped to 67 percent for CFOs that believe we will be in a recession by the end of 2020. This week on Boom Bust, Economics Professor Richard Wolff joined host Daniel Brito to discuss the latest Fed rate cut. Wolff says this is simply an effort by the Trump administration and Fed Chairman Jerome Powell to stave off a recession so it doesn’t hurt Trump’s bid for the White House in 2020. | Just Press Play, hosted by RT America’s Ashlee Banks, has that segment and the best of other in-depth reports, exclusive interviews and controversial issues you may have missed this week on RT America. This episode features highlights from this week’s episodes of World According to Jesse, Larry King Now, In Question, America’s Lawyer and On Contact! #JustPressPlay
