Chauvin charge upgraded to 2nd-degree murder

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is upgrading charges against now-fired Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin to second-degree murder in the death of George Floyd. He is also charging the three other officers involved with aiding and abetting. Meanwhile, student-led protests are taking to the streets in Minneapolis to organize massive support for a demonstration in the state’s capital. Freelance reporter Ashlee Banks is on ground with the latest out of Minneapolis. The buildup of armored personnel and police has continued to grow outside of the White House as the Pentagon confirms it has moved 1,600 troops to the DC area. RT America’s Rachel Blevins updates us on the demonstrations in Washington. The now-infamous Trump photo op in front of the historic St. John’s Church has caused a top Pentagon advisor to publicly resign. RT America’s Faran Fronczak has the latest. President Trump announced on twitter his decision to move the Republican National Convention from Charlotte, North Carolina to another city following Gov.
