Trade Truce Commences & The Pentagon Appeals To Silicon Valley

Natasha Sweatte reports on how the U.S. trade war on China has not benefited either the U.S. and China.  Out of this weekend’s G20 negotiations, Beijing and Washington have announced a 90 day truce, including the reduction of tariffs on $250 billion worth of Chinese goods from 25% to 10%. Natasha talks to Political Commentator and China Expert, Sheng Zhang, about how many are looking toward ongoing negotiations to end trade tensions with cautious optimism. Later, Natasha Sweatte breaks down predictions of major changes to the US housing market, as unsold homes climb to the highest level since 2009, when the US was in a middle of a mortgage crisis. Natasha talks to Jeff Deist, President of Mises Institute, about why experts forecast this change. Finally, RT Correspondent, Manila Chan reports on how the $10 billion Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure is attracting Microsoft and other tech companies to provide the Department of Defense with technology, and the implications of Amazon’s move to Crystal City, right next door to the Pentagon.
