Unrecognized nations: Taiwan

There are two Chinas in the modern world – The People's Republic of China, situated on the mainland, and the self-proclaimed Republic of China, also known as Taiwan. These two countries have much in common. But there are two opposing opinions in Taiwan about possible unification with mainland China.
