The Caspian Sea Monster (times 05.30, 13.30, 21.30)

In August of 1967 an American spy satellite took sensational photographs. A huge unknown machine of 100 meters length and about 500 tons of weight, which looked like an aircraft, was flying over the Caspian Sea waters at more than 500 kilometers per hour. It was an airfoil boat which was constructed to make the Soviet Union a naval superpower. Pentagon analysts called it “the Caspian Sea Monster”.  The history of  airfoil boat construction, tests and its rebirth today, is the theme of The Caspian Sea Monster documentary.
