Pain and Pride

The Pain and Pride documentary is scheduled for Victory Day, which celebrates the end of World War II on May 9. The hero of the documentary used to be a military pilot. After his aircraft was brought down he was held prisoner of war by the Germans. He was in three different concentration camps and was sentenced to death by firing squad. He used someone else’s name and escaped on one of the Luftwaffe’s best aircraft, with nine other prisoners on board. Find out more about his extraordinary life, in the Pain and Pride documentary.
