­Khabarovsk is the second-largest city in the Russian Far East, situated just a few kilometers from the Chinese border. The city lies at the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers. Here you will meet rare, wild animals as well as old Soviet cars. The Khabarovsk Region is home to the indigenous Nanai people. There are around 12,000 Nanai living in Russia and they are the largest of the indigenous Amur tribes. In Khabarovsk you will have an opportunity to visit their festival.
