Baltiysk used to be the most eastern military base of the Baltic Navy of Russia. Now it's the freight and military port, but still foreigners aren't allowed to visit Baltiysk without a special pass. Cuban Missile Crisis

On October 22, 1962, no one in Moscow realised that the world was on the brink of a catastrophe. Just a few men in the Kremlin knew they may have to give orders for a nuclear strike against the United States that night. In Washington D.C., Robert Kennedy had announced the blockade of Cuba, where Soviet missiles were positioned. For the first time, the world faced the realistic possibility of a nuclear war. The conflict between two superpowers is the focus of the Cuban Missile Crisis documentary.
