Keldysh is one of Russia’s most famous scientific research vessels, and she’s heading towards the Arctic Circle on a mission to collect important underwater samples. One of the scientists aboard explains the science behind the claim to Russia’s Arctic shelf that was submitted to the UN, which he helped draft.
