Day without immigrants

One of the largest dams in America threatens to collapse, leaving thousands of residents in Oroville, California at risk of losing their homes and possessions. Simone Del Rosaio has the details. Meanwhile, big US banks are pushing to ease money laundering rules as the Trump administration comes together. It’s all about the numbers, Yahoo and Verizon are inching closer to closing a deal and saving millions at the same time.
Then, after the break, Manuel Rapalo talks about “a day without immigrants ” – a protest being held across America today, when businesses will close shop to show solidarity with illegal immigrants and opposition to what is being perceived as a crackdown on them by the Trump White House. Finally, ALEX MIHAILOVICH gives us a look at how Canadian made Blackberry is on its last leg.
