The $100 million BRICS contingent reserve arrangement is now fully operational following its inaugural meetings in Ankara, Turkey this past weekend. The goal behind the agreement is to establish a self-managed contingent reserve arrangement that allows for emergency lending and provides financial support to strengthen the BRICS’ economies.
