Pay TV bundle unraveling as media stocks take a hit

The cracks in the traditional TV bundling model have just gotten deeper. On Wednesday, media companies and distributors indicated that more people were cutting the cord and ditching expensive TV cable packages all together. And now analysts are saying it’s starting to take a toll on companies, who are seeing stocks go down. Ameera David weighs in.

Boom Bust producer Bianca Facchinei talks to Jennifer Granick, the keynote speaker at Black Hat 2015. They discuss privacy and the internet.

After the break, Ameera and Erin Ade talk about the SEC ruling that will mandate companies to publish the ratio between CEO and employee pay, thereby opening up the conversation on income inequality.

And in The Big Deal, Ameera and RT correspondent Manuel Rapalo discuss the uptick in global remittances, which have become an invaluable lifeline for millions of families in the developing world.
