Yahoo hit with major malware attack, potentially affecting millions
If you’ve visited Yahoo’s website in recent days, you could be one of the millions affected by a major malware attack. Without knowing it was happening, the search giant was playing host to a malware company through its advertising network. The activity is known in the industry as “malvertising.” Ameera David weighs in.
Ameera then talks to Bianca Facchinei from Black Hat 2015 about cyber security and the national hacks that are driving the conversation.
After the break, Erin Ade is joined by Max Wolff, chief economist at Manhattan Venture Partners. They discuss the latest happenings in the tech world, from Twitter to Samsung.
And in The Big Deal, Ameera and RT correspondent Manuel Rapalo discuss online tracking by private companies. They specifically take a look at “Do Not Track” – the policy that would stop websites and advertisers from tracking average web surfers.
