Trends in tech and Schiff on US de-industrialization

On Tuesday, Baltimore residents began cleaning up after the riots that erupted following the funeral of a 25-year-old black man who died after suffering a spinal injury while in police custody. City officials and the mayor seem to have been caught off guard by the rioting, which is shocking, given Baltimore’s long history of failed development and urban renewal. Erin weighs in.

Erin is joined by Peter Schiff – CEO of Euro Pacific Capital and host of “The Peter Schiff Show.” Peter tells us how shrinking employment in the US is related to the current situation in Baltimore and gives us his take on Greece and whether it will quit the eurozone.

RT correspondent Lindsay France joins us from Los Angeles to talk about Uber’s new venture in food delivery.

After the break, Bianca gives us a daily news roundup of other business headlines including T-Mobile, Tidal, and SnapChat.

Then Erin sits down with Max Wolff – chief economist at Manhattan Venture Partners and professor of economics at The New School. Max tells us how Apple was able to crunch numbers despite the conundrum of its over-reliance on the iPhone. Max also mulls over other earnings reports.

And in The Big Deal, Erin and Edward discuss some of the major tech stories of the day.
