Republicans’ political liability

In tonight’s Politics Panel, Thom and his guests discuss the Benghazi committee and how it’s starting to look like a political liability for the Republicans. House Speaker hopeful Kevin McCarthy went on Fox News and came clean about the real motive of the investigation. And Minority Leader Harry Reid calls out the GOP, describing them as “NRA puppets.” In Screwed News, Thom discusses the TPP and how it just won’t cost American jobs, but also American lives. Thom talks with Melinda St. Louis, the Director of the International Campaigns for Public Citizen’s Global Trade Watch and Zahara Heckscher, who is a breast cancer patient affected by this deal. Later in the show, the CEO of the World Coal Association talks to Thom about “clean coal” and in tonight’s Daily Take, Thom talks about the loss of American jobs due to outsourcing.
