On this episode of Going Underground, we speak to Professor Branko Milanovic, who was Lead Economist at the World Bank’s Research Department for almost 20 years and the author of The Great Global Transformation. He discusses the looming danger of WWIII and the similarities of today’s world with the world prior to the First World War, while explaining why more globalization actually increases the risk of WWIII breaking out. Then, he goes on to describe how the Ukraine proxy war is increasing the risk of a WWIII and exposes the rise of military-Keynesianism in the US & Europe. Afshin Rattansi confronts him on the World Bank’s role in destroying the economies of so many countries, while speculating on whether BRICS institutions will be able to replace the IMF & World Bank. The pair goes on to discuss the success of China’s economic model, while deliberating on whether China is trying to export Chinese communism, and then give their opinions on whether we’ve finally reached the end of neoliberal economics.

He exposes how the colonizers turned intimacy into a weapon of state, using bodies as currency for economic gain and instruments for social control. With unflinching clarity, Professor Lumumba rescues these stories from the footnotes of history, restoring dignity to the silenced and holding the past to account for its most intimate betrayals.

On this episode of Sanchez Effect, Rick Sanchez sits down with a man who needs no introduction. Tucker Carlson drops a truth bomb right from the start, arguing that when a podcaster is widely tipped for the presidency, it speaks volumes about the absolute bankruptcy of America’s current leadership – a class he brands as both criminal and dangerously incompetent.

The gloves come off as Carlson blasts the collective West for blindly pushing humanity to the brink of World War III by actively waging a calculated war against Russia. Sanchez and Carlson dissect how a hijacked, illegitimate political elite has traded America’s domestic prosperity for global destruction.

From exposing the illusion of modern Western democracy to revealing how Deep-State actors leverage mass migration as a deliberate weapon, Carlson holds nothing back. He pulls back the curtain on Ukraine, saying it has been stripped of its sovereignty and is being used as a mere pawn by NATO to destabilize Russia and drain its resources.

This is a fierce, unfiltered look at a global empire in freefall and an interview you absolutely cannot afford to miss.

AI can now predict when and where we plan to spend our hard-earned bucks. Stores can take that information and change prices on an hourly basis to maximize profit.
In the latest episode of In Conversation with Salman Khurshid, Kishwar Desai, the founder-chairperson of India’s Partition Museum, joins former External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid for a conversation marking the 79th anniversary of India’s Independence. Desai says the museum, curated along the lines of Apartheid and Holocaust museums, serves as a reminder to the world of how a line drawn on a map split a nation in two, resulting in the displacement and deaths of millions. For her, the museum is a “site of conscience” that reminds us that these tragedies must never be repeated. She blames the British and their policy of divide and rule for partitioning the nation, and for doing so in haste, leaving behind two newly formed countries and millions of people to fend for themselves. Desai says the Partition Museum also celebrates the innate goodness of humanity by showcasing how people from different communities saved one another’s lives during the violence of partition. According to her, both India and Pakistan need to overcome the burden of the cultural disruption, and the museum plays an important role in preserving uncomfortable memories while promoting understanding and reconciliation.

Gupta argues that the Western media must revisit their ethical standards. According to him, biased reporting on India damages their own credibility. He criticizes Meta for blocking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s video, calling it unacceptable interference in India’s democratic process. He also explains why absolute free speech does not exist under the Indian Constitution, what it mentions is conditional speech. Comparing the Gen Z-driven political turmoil in South Asia, Gupta argues that the recent protests in India cannot be compared with Nepal or Bangladesh because Indian society is far more layered and diverse.

Our guest is quite confident that Donald Trump’s latest pivot toward peace is a sign of desperation since he cannot admit defeat, as that would undermine the Republicans in the November midterm elections. She also thinks that recent Ukrainian terror attacks against an Italian restaurant in Moscow and a crowded beach in southern Russia demonstrate Kiev’s collapsing position on the front lines.
Olga and Tara welcome Senator Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Speaker of the Russian Federation Council – for Russia’s perspectives on the war in Ukraine, Western policies and the world’s future security.

Did Europe misunderstand the events of 2014 from the very beginning? Why does Sen. Kosachev argue that the Minsk Agreements, the Istanbul peace talks, and Russia’s 2021 security proposals represented missed opportunities to avoid a wider conflict, and why does he believe European leaders are now politically unable to change course?

Can the US influence Ukraine’s decisions? Have sanctions strengthened rather than weakened Russia? And is today’s “rules-based order” replacing international law – or is that itself a flawed interpretation of world politics?

What would Russia consider a lasting peace? Why does Moscow reject claims that it seeks territorial expansion beyond Ukraine? And how does Sen. Kosachev explain Russia’s security concerns, its relationship with NATO, and its vision of a future European security architecture?

Talk about a no-win scenario. He explains, however, how Moscow has successfully defied the pressure to reclaim its superpower status.

Mr. Krainer also details why Israel now stands completely isolated and faces imminent downfall. The warning signs are flashing everywhere: the Gulf States are trapped, the Houthis and Iran have the upper hand, and historical Western puppet masters are losing their grip on the region.
In the latest episode of In Conversation with Salman Khurshid, author, scientist, and former advisor to late Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Srijan Pal Singh, joins former External Affairs Minister of India Salman Khurshid for an insightful discussion.

Reflecting on his years with Dr. Kalam, Srijan shares that the former president never wanted to be remembered solely as the ‘Missile Man’ or the ‘People’s President’; at heart, he always remained a teacher.

He recalls Dr. Kalam’s deep emotional connection with India’s missile program and how he would often joke that his three sons were Prithvi, Agni, and BrahMos.

Srijan also traces the origins of the BrahMos missile, revealing how an abandoned ramjet engine in Russia inspired Dr. Kalam with the idea that eventually led to the development of one of the world’s most advanced missile systems.

‘Many myths are told about Russia – all untrue. Russia is a unique country that loves human rights and will do everything to protect them’ – Russian Human Rights High Commissioner Yana Lantratova.

On the latest episode of ‘Sanchez Effect,’ we get a rare glimpse into the soul of someone who cares so much for so many others. Ms. Lantratova shares her fierce commitment to human rights, a drive solidified by the violence that broke out in Donbass in 2014, when she risked her life to evacuate children from besieged cities. She also speaks in visceral detail about Ukraine’s deadly drone strike earlier this year on a college in the city of Starobelsk.

Lantratova explains how her office has worked, despite no formal diplomatic ties with Ukraine, to create humanitarian corridors that enable families to be reunited and POWs to come home. She dispels the myth that Russia’s constitution guarantees nothing more than symbolic freedoms. At the same time, she confronts the Western narrative, asking viewers to question whether global powers are truly impartial when they turn a blind eye to the suffering of Russian-speaking civilians in Donbass. Don’t miss it – only on RT.

He examines the American Colonization Society’s “back-to-Africa” project, tracing how freed African-Americans established a new republic on ancestral soil. But this is no triumphant homecoming – it is a story of dislocation. Arriving with the language and culture of their oppressors, the settlers became a new elite that marginalized indigenous populations, leaving a legacy of division and lost heritage. Tune in for a sharp analysis of a nation that stands as both the pride and tragedy of the African diaspora.

Is the US already in direct conflict with Russia? Why does Tucker argue that the US has lost its sovereignty, and who does he believe is shaping foreign policy decisions? We also discuss the growing tensions between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, the prospect of a third political party in the US, and whether the current political system still represents ordinary Americans. Can Europe avoid a direct confrontation with Russia and where is the boundary between proxy support and direct warfare? Are we witnessing a historical pivot of power from West to East, and can global stability survive the shift? We also examine sanctions, energy security, NATO, and the future of diplomacy.

In this episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect, Rick goes straight to the straits issue: Yemen’s Ansar Allah has announced a naval blockade of Saudi Arabia, pushing another global choke point into the zone of uncertainty. Chris Martenson, independent economist and founder of PeakProsperity.com joins the discussion. He says the US is playing with fire and their aggressive actions are inching the world to the brink of a depression. Chris thinks ‘the strait of Hormuz had to be opened month ago’ to dodge that disastrous result. Mr. Sanchez and Mr. Martenson walk through each country in the region, scrutinising their future place. Also on deck: What will happen to dollar and what’s the nation’s fate?
‘You are looking at worldwide depression if both straits are closed: less food, less mobility, decline in standard of living.’ – David Morgan.

On the latest episode of Sanchez Effect, economist and publisher David Morgan explains how the conflict with Iran could instantly choke critical energy lifelines, triggering an unprecedented worldwide depression and resource shortages. He also exposes the systemic lies driving the collapse of US dollar dominance. According to him, a monumental shift in geopolitical power is already underway as China collects more gold than any other global player.

Morgan cuts through the noise of daily market volatility, breaking down why traditional paper assets are a mathematical trap and why gold, silver, and Bitcoin are the only real lifelines left. True survival, however, isn’t just about your bank account – it requires a complete psychological reset to reclaim personal integrity and look past a deeply corrupt system.
‘The less capable a US politician is, the more valuable he is to special interests, the more valuable to the war machine, the more valuable to big pharma’ – Ben Swann.

In this episode of RT’s ‘Sanchez Effect’, and in the wake of Lindsey Graham’s passing, Rick wonders why US Senator Mitch McConnell has been absent for so long. Today’s guest, the host of ‘America Now’ Ben Swann takes things a step further, questioning why McConnell is still an active senator. Both agree that someone doesn’t want to give Thomas Massie a chance to take over for McConnell, as the former has been a thorn in the side of neocons for more than decade.

Ben and Rick also marvel at how Trump has completely pivoted from an America-first stance to supporting two wars at once, policies that don’t bode well for Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections. Watch the whole episode here on RT or on BitChute ‘ricksancheztv’.

He himself once worked for US media corporations that were implicated in such schemes. Later in the program, RT European correspondent Chay Bowes joins Rick, and they discuss the EU’s ‘new Orban’ – Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev, who has blocked a number of anti-Russian sanctions and left the pro-Ukrainian Coalition of the Willing.

In the second part, Rick discusses the US war on Iran with retired American Navy captain Armen Kurdian, who is running for Congress. Kurdian backs all of Washington’s moves against Iran, justifying Operation Epic Fury and portraying Iran as an evil regime, while Rick challenges him with the facts. Kurdian was in Iran in 1975 before the Islamic Revolution, and he praises the regime of that time as democratic.
Will the departure of one of the chief “Trump whisperers” open a long-awaited diplomatic channel between Washington and Moscow – or will the military-industrial complex continue its relentless march unchecked? Can a highly individualized foreign policy under Donald Trump bypass the systemic “war machine” that Graham so gleefully championed for decades?

Why are NATO leaders offering Ukraine high-tech Patriot transfers when the engineering capacity and intellectual property safeguards simply do not exist? As Western Europe battles severe “war fever” despite crumbling domestic economies, how do elites justify historic military spending?

We also look into the UK facing a rapid leadership transition under Andy Burnham – and dissect what modern Russophobia actually implies.

Dr. Rajiv recalls the journey of India’s economic liberalization in 1991 and busts the myth that it was borne out of crisis. He says the thought of liberalization was there right from Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s tenure. Regarding China, he is of the view that it is far ahead of India as an economic and technological power, and that India should accept this reality and open itself up to China, its technology and investments. He believes that the $100 billion India-Russia trade target shouldn’t just be a goal, it’s a necessity and one way to achieve it is to tap into the huge demand for non-chemical and organic Agri products in Russia.

DD Geopolitics correspondent, Christopher Helali, joins the discussion from Tehran, giving key insight on alleged Saudi Arabian strikes on the international airport in Sanaa, Yemen. Rick’s guest predicts the Houthis will retaliate hard, possibly closing another key chokepoint in the region – the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Both Rick and Christopher understand that such a move would be a massive blow to the global economy, as wells as to the US-Israeli aggression in the region. But, as Christopher points out, the Arab countries hosting US bases will suffer the most – because their territories are being used as launch sites for attacks against Iran. Therefore, Tehran has every right to fight back, and this retaliation could easily make those countries ‘uninhabitable’. Smita reflects on ANI’s journey from producing news packages for foreign broadcasters to becoming the backbone of Indian newsrooms after liberalisation opened up the market.

She explains that much of the Western media captures only one face of India, and says the country should stop worrying about being liked and focus on becoming successful instead. Drawing on ANI’s decades of covering Indian prime ministers since Jawaharlal Nehru, she reveals which leaders were the easiest and most challenging to work with. On the Modi-Putin relationship, she says the two share an unusually strong vibe of their own.
‘NATO summit a conference to sell weapons. It’s a corporate meeting of corporate heads. Who gets what? How are we going to split up the pie?’ – Steven Eugene Kuhn.

In this edition of RT’s ‘Sanchez Effect’, Rick sifts through the developments from the NATO summit in Ankara. RT correspondent Yasin Eken is in the city and says Türkiye is not happy with the bloc because it actually has done nothing for Ankara. He also highlights that NATO is still the same old organization, and all the talk about reform is no more than that. It’s still pushing for wars and making money from it.

In the second part, Rick talks to Steven Eugene Kuhn, retired US Army combat veteran, and founder of ‘Take America Back’. Kuhn also agrees that the main idea of the summit is to sell weapons and make money. He says people don’t like it and it needs to be changed through a patriotic takeover in politics. Kuhn predicts that the German AfD party will win a majority in future elections. Both Rick and Steven want Congress in their homeland – the US – to be controlled by Americans and not foreign influencers.

He explains why American patriotism has waned under Trump, highlighting the sharp decline in enthusiasm among his supporters.

Our guest also shared a daring vision for a new America, in which the government’s priorities are health care, debt relief and economic stability as opposed to endless wars.

In this episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect, Rick sets the table aside to walk you through our big wall map of the Ukraine conflict, breaking down why taking Konstantinovka matters for the Russian advance. He’s joined by one of the most experienced military analysts, former US army officer Stanislav Krapivnik, who has been to Donbass many times. Stanislav explains that Konstantinovka gives Russia a chance to encircle all of Ukraine’s Donetsk army group, meaning they’re basically finished. He also tells Rick that the agglomeration that includes Konstantinovka is the last Ukrainian line of defence in the Donetsk People’s Republic, with nothing but unprepared fields and small villages behind it – and once this line is crossed by Russia, Ukrainian forces have no choice but to flee. Stanislav also takes us through all the other frontline developments. Watch it on RT or on BitChute ‘ricksancheztv’.
