Marina Dzhashi is a news anchor at RT International who has been with the channel since its launch in 2005. Her professional experience spans more than 20 years and covers a wide variety of fields, including broadcast media, education and business consultancy. Marina’s career in journalism began at the Voice of Russia World Service and progressed further after she completed a Master’s degree in International Broadcast Journalism with Merit at Westminster University in London. Marina produced and hosted a radio debate show “Agree or Disagree”, discussing global political and business issues with prominent international and domestic experts. Having lived, studied and worked at different stages of her life in the US, India, Japan, the UK and Russia and being a fluent speaker of Russian, English, French and Italian, Marina has developed a strong interest in promoting cross-cultural diversity. Her experience of living and working abroad and a strong interest in international business has led her to pursue an MBA from London Metropolitan University. Marina also studied documentary film making at the Russian Institute of Cinematography ( VGIK) and New York Film Academy. Marina Dzhashi is often invited to participate in business forums, acts as a moderator at conferences and round tables.
