Egor Piskunov comes from a dynasty of journalists sharing the profession with two generations of his family tree. He's been in the RT family for over ten years, starting as the ticker editor in the newsroom and working up to become a news correspondent in the field and an anchor in the studio. Egor's been to sixty two countries, covering different conflicts, including South Ossetia, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Syria and Ukraine. He also reported on major political events, including the Russia-EU summit in the Far East, the G20 summit in Australia and the 70th UN General Assembly in New York, where he was based as RT International's and RT America's correspondent for six months. Egor studied international journalism at Moscow State University.
