On Air

Thousands are gathering on the Martin Place Cenotaph in Sydney on Monday for dawn services before the celebration of Anzac Day – and annual event honoring the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought in the Gallipoli Campaign against the Ottoman Empire during World War I. Veterans of various conflicts, their families, current service personnel and politicians are coming to pay their respects and lay wreaths.
