Number of missing people in Indonesian lake boat disaster raises to 166

The number of people missing after a boat capsized at Indonesia’s Lake Toba has risen from the initial 80 to 166. The boat operated without a passenger manifest and local authorities have changed the estimated number of victims several times. As of Tuesday, 18 people have been rescued and one was confirmed killed in the incident, which happened in the world’s largest volcanic lake located in the province of North Sumatra.
