NYC bomb suspect slapped with federal terrorism charges

Federal authorities charged the failed New York suicide bomber with providing material support to terrorists and using weapons of mass destruction. The Bangladeshi immigrant Akayed Ullah, 27, sustained burns during the attack. Three pedestrians were injured. According to the complaint, Ullah became radicalized through the internet three years ago, started planning the attack two or three weeks ago, built the bomb a week ago, and is alleged to have posted on Facebook the day of the bomb attempt, "Trump you failed to protect your nation.”
