36,000 households in France without power after storm Ana
As many as 36,000 households across France were still without power on Tuesday after Storm Ana hit the country. Enedis, the body in charge of the electricity network, said that more than 1,500 agents were being deployed to help restore power. Strong winds and heavy rainfall wreaked havoc with transportation in various parts of the country on Monday, AP said. Northern France was the region most affected by the snow and wintery weather, with 20,000 homes in the region left without electricity.
