UN Security Council fails to impress Iran's president

“Even 10 resolutions by the UN Security Council will not change Iran's position on its nuclear program.” Strong words from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in his address to the Iranian Parliament.

Citing Ayatollah Khomeeni, he warned that no Iranian leader had the right to back down in regards to the country's nuclear program.

The United Nations Security Council adopted sanctions against Iran on December 23 last year, for refusing to abandon its uranium enrichment program.
