Third annual forum in Turkey to discuss Islamic-Christian dialogue

The “Russia and the Islamic World” conference has opened in the Turkish city of Istanbul. The two-day forum, which is being held for the third time, will discuss achievements in Islamic-Christian dialogue and adopt several related projects.

The meeting gathers former foreign ministers and scientists from the Middle East and Central Asian states.

The Russian delegation is headed by the president of Tatarstan republic, Mintimer Shaimiyev.
