Divers to search for lost $US 200,000 watch

A group of divers in St. Petersburg are to search for a $US 200,000 diamond-encrusted watch that someone lost in the Neva River. A foreign visitor accidentally dropped the limited-edition Hellmuth chronograph into the water while walking across St. John's

The divers are now waiting for special equipment from Russia's Far East, as they say it is impossible to find the watch on the riverbed without it.

According to the Russian Divers' Association, the 'official' search will start on Thursday.

But some people are already trying to find the timepiece without any equipment, with the owner promising a $US 10,000 reward to anyone who will find it.
