Beslan mothers protest court's decision

Activists from the “Beslan Mothers Committee” are refusing to leave the North Ossetian Supreme Court. They are protesting against its refusal to open criminal cases against members of the Crisis Centre in the Beslan School.

The Beslan Mothers Committee accuses workers of the Crisis Centre for Rescuing Hostages of mishandling the rescue operation.

More than a thousand people were held hostage for three days in September 2004, more than 330 were killed in the terrorist act.
