North Koreans pay tribute to Kim Jong-il on the 6th anniversary of his death

Crowds in Pyongyang mark the sixth anniversary of the death of Kim Jong-il. Laying flowers and bowing to the statues and portraits of past leaders is a ritual in North Korea on all major anniversaries and holidays.
Kim Jong Il died on December 17, 2011, and the sense of official mourning is much less intense than it was in the first three years after his death.
