NATO carries out air defense exercises in Dragon 17 drills in Poland

NATO troops carried out air defense exercises in Ustka, Poland, on Tuesday, as part of the large-scale Dragon 17 military drills. The exercises included test launches from the Newa air defense system and a 23-mm anti-aircraft cannon firing at target drones. Around 3,500 vehicles, including tanks, fighter jets, and helicopters, were deployed as part of the drills in which Poland’s NATO allies from the US, Britain, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, and Georgia are taking part.
